What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website places in your browser. We also use related technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which work similarly. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" below.

Cookies we use

1. Strictly necessary — authentication

Our backend authentication provider stores a session token in localStorage under a key prefixed sb-. This is required to keep you signed in and to authorize requests to your registry. Without it, the app cannot function.

Type: first-party · Duration: until sign-out or token expiry · Opt-out: signing out clears it.

2. Strictly necessary — app preferences

We store small UI preferences (e.g. sidebar state, theme) in localStorage so the app remembers your choices between visits. No personal data is stored here.

Type: first-party · Duration: persistent until cleared.

3. Analytics

We currently do not run third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future (e.g. aggregated page views), we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.

Third-party services

When you click "Send via WhatsApp", we open a wa.me deep link. WhatsApp may set its own cookies once you land on its site or app — that activity is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy and cookie policies, not ours.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and reset app preferences. Because the cookies we use are strictly necessary for the Service, we do not show a consent banner; using the Service implies acceptance of these necessary cookies.

Changes

We will update this policy if we add new cookies or change how existing ones are used. Material changes will be announced in-app.
